OGC’s founders were grassroots, social movement people who wanted to transform food and agriculture. They decided the vehicle to accomplish this was a produce distribution company that would help organic farmers access the market, while supporting the health of the planet and communities they served.
That original vision drives our purpose on today, and has expanded with our business in alignment with our values. Pledging financial and in-kind contributions to grow and strengthen the organic movement is part of who we are and written into our codified bylaws.
OGC supports different programs for distributing financial and in-kind produce donations to mission-aligned stakeholders. Below is a list of options and instructions for getting started.

Getting started
We want to make requesting support easy and accessible. Here are four tips for getting started:
- You will need to create a free Submittable account or sign in with Google or Facebook credentials to submit to these requests.
- This platform works best on Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Internet Explorer is not supported. Please make sure you are using a supported browser.
- You can save a draft of your work if you would like to finish filling out the form later.

In-kind donations of fresh, organic produce are available to organizations serving those in need and for mission-aligned community partners.
Please complete this simple application, and an OGC representative will be in touch about your request. Please consider your plan for picking up the produce donation at one of OGC’s NW hubs. A 30-day lead time is requested for administration and coordination.
Eligible Applicants
- Partners that serves stakeholders in OGC’s delivery area of Alaska, California, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington
- Capable of picking up the produce donation at one of OGC’s NW hubs
- Able to provide OGC with a (EIN) Tax ID number
